We get a lot of questions about how to navigate natural health choices when a family is involved with a family court hearing or a social care referral. It is a difficult and delicate issue legally and parents are often given incorrect information that can jeopardise their case.
For any family looking to protect their choices, their preferences and their human rights as legal custodians of their children, this is a really important topic.
We’re holding a discussion afternoon and online seminar for parents wanting to know how to support their families. We also encourage any support workers of non-governmental organisations or parenting networking/resource groups who are trying to help families in these kinds of situations to also come along and ask questions about what to do when faced with parents going through a crisis.
(PARENTS AND NON-GOVERNMENT WORKERS AND VOLUNTEERS ONLY – Not for professionals – there will be a different event for this)
We are hoping to host in a church or similar building in Poole – venue TBC.
Creche, snacks, and children’s activities will be provided in person (anyone offering to be on the rota for supervising the activities can have a free ticket). Bring an item to share for a shared lunch. The on-line seminar will be a blend of in-person and on-line viewers, live streamed via a Zoom link. Come in-person for a Q&A session, networking with our team and for other resources.
