It is normal practice to make use of midwifery and health visiting services when you have a family. Many services are offered and can be turned down if you do not feel the need for them, there is no legal requirement for you to have any engagement with health care professionals or other agencies should you wish not to.
However, it is our experience that occasionally professionals sometimes overstep the mark and intrude upon the privacy of a family who have turned down support services. If this has happened to you, you can contact us for our wealth of experience in parent support should you need it.
